UFC 240 Odds, Preview & Expert Picks - (2025)

Updated: 13/06/2025
It’s a great weekend to be a fight fan, with the Octagon heading north of the border to the Rogers Centre in Edmonton for UFC 240. All told, we will have 5 fights on the main card, which will go on Saturday night at 10 PM, with the PPV event available through ESPN+. There are a lot of tasty bouts on the card in this one, with the Edgar/Holloway bout serving as the headliner.
Cyborg will also be on the main card, with many believing that her time with UFC could be done if she falls to a defeat here. A lot of great storylines in play on Saturday night, so let’s dig a little deeper into the 5 main card bouts while making some UFC Betting predictions.
UFC 240 Odds, Preview & Expert Picks
- When: July 27, 2019
- Where: Rogers Place, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
- Live Stream: UFC Fight Pass
Marc-Andre Barriault (+140) vs. Krzysztof Jotko (-170)
The main card opens with a middleweight bout, which will see the Canadian, Barriault, in as the crowd favorite, albeit an underdog in the eyes of the bookies. Barriault is 11-1 in his professional career, but he did lose his only fight under the UFC banner.
Jotko is certainly the more experienced fighter, going 7-4 in his time in the UFC. He is coming off a win his last fight out, which snapped a 3-fight losing skid. This looks to be an evenly matched bout, but the slight nod here goes to Jotko.
Olivier Aubin-Mercier (+150) vs. Arman Tsarukyan (-180)
Next up is a Lightweight bout that will feature another Canadian fighter in Aubin Mercier. He has done well enough in his time in the UFC, positing a 7-4 record, but he comes into this one having lost back to back fights.
In comparison, Tsarkuyan has just a single fight to his name in the UFC, losing that one. The upshot of all this is that both men need a win here. If Tsarukyan can stay off the mat, he has the power to finish this one early.
Geoff Neal (-385) vs. Niko Price (+310)
It is the Welterweights who are up next, with up and coming start Geoff Neal in as a rather hefty favorite for this one. He has certainly taken the UFC by storm, winning each of his first 3 bouts to take his professional record to 11-2. Price is 13-2 with 1 NC in his career, which includes being 5-2 in his fights under the UFC banner.
Both of these men win the majority of their fights by KO, so we might see this one fail to go the distance. I am on Neal to be the last man standing.
Cris Cyborg (-750) vs. Felicia Spencer (+500)
As far as name recognition goes, there is perhaps no more recognizable face in the UFC than Cris Cyborg. It’s a strange relationship that she has with the UFC, though, which is why there are rumblings that she might be on the way out.
She certainly needs a win after losing to Nunes, but she is not going to have an easy time of it against the unbeaten Felicia Spencer. While Spencer is a solid Featherweight fighter, this will be just her second UFC bout. The experience gets Cyborg the win here.
Max Holloway (-400) vs. Frankie Edgar (+300)
The final fight of the night is a Featherweight Title bout that looks to be, on paper at least, an absolute beauty. Holloway is the defending champion, but he is coming off a loss in his last bout, taking his record in the UFC to 14-4.
Frankie Edgar is a veteran of this organization, coming in with a 16-6 record, although just 3-2 in his last 5 fights. Both of these men have the ability and experience to win, but I think the champ will hold on to his belt.
Preliminary Card
- Alexis Davis vs. Viviane Araújo
- Hakeem Dawodu vs. Yoshinori Horie
- Gavin Tucker vs. Seung Woo Choi
- Alexandre Pantoja vs. Deiveson Figueiredo
- Gillian Robertson vs. Sarah Frota
- Erik Koch vs. Kyle Stewart
