Both teams have come out of goal fests following a string of losses and draws. While Torpedo BelAZ blanked Minsk 2-5, Slavia Mozyr overcame Vitebsk 2-3 and both the wins have come on the road.

Slavia now host Torpedo on Saturday, May 9th, at the Yunost Stadium in what promises to be an exciting encounter.

Slavia have had a hard time at home soil, winning just 3 of their last 11 games in the Belarusian Premier League (BPL) at the Yunost.

Moreover they have managed to keep just one clean sheet from those 11 games. Mikhail Martinovich’s side came back well against Vitebsk after being a couple of goals down.

Coach Yuri Puntus's side were lethal in their thrashing of FK Minsk last weekend. Gabriel Ramos's assist helped Kirill Premudrov open the scoring in the 8th minute and 2 quick goals before interval gave the visitors to Minsk a comfortable 3-0 lead going into half-time.

Gorbachik completed his hat-trick immediately post the break to make it 4-1. Andrey Khachaturyan hit the post and Lipe Veloso came off the bench to get his first goal of the season and the Torpedo’s 5th of the game.

For Slavia Mozyr, attacker Maksym Slyusar, the hero at Vitebsk win, returned from injury off the bench in Borisov.

He is sure to make a start for Saturday’s clash at the cost of Nikita Melnikov up front. Ilya Vasilevich is another option in that space.

Left back Vladislav Malkevich who was dropped against Vitebsk is not likely to start and with Yuriy Pantya taking his place.

Holding midfielder Denis Kovalevski, who got his first start of the season at Vitebsk is also likely to feature in Saturday's home clash.

For Torpedo, winger Danil Levitsky hasn’t featured this season but was an unused substitute in the Minsk game.

Mikhail Afanasjev wasn’t in the squad last week either and his place in the team could be under threat.

Brazilian winger Lipe Veloso continues to wait for a start after four straight substitute appearances. But he could force coach Puntus's hand into considering him for a start to the Mozyr game after his sensational performance at Minsk last Saturday.
