FC Minsk began the Belarus Premier League (BPL) 2020 well, winning both their opening ties against Belshina and Dinamo Minsk 1-3 and 3-2 respectively.

But they couldn't keep up the momentum as they succumbed back-to-back to Energetik-BGU (2-0) and Bate Borisov (0-3).
