2020/21 EPL Top Four finish odds update:

With odds of 1000/1, Manchester United have emerged as the second team apart from Pep Guardiola's City to certainly finish in the Top 4.

Leicester City

Leicester City are the bookmakers third favourite at odds of 1/4 (1.25) to finish in the Top four.

Wins over relegation candidates West Bromwich and a struggling 13th placed Crystal Palace have taken Brendan Rodgers' Foxes to the 62 points, 4 clear of Chelsea below them.

This has seen their odds shorten from 4/5 (1.80) to 1/4 (1.25) now.

Easy fixtures against struggling bottom-half sides Southampton and Newcastle should help Leicester consolidate their position in the Top Four in weeks to come.

Chelsea

Chelsea's ascendance under Thomas Tuchel has been nothing short of dramatic.

Since the time the 53-year-old German took over from Frank Lampard at Stamford Bridge in late-January, the Blues have lost just one of their last 13 Premier league outings.

The West London club have taken a significant leap towards securing a top-four finish with a 1-0 win over Champions League challengers West Ham last Saturday.

No wonder online bookmakers have shortened their odds from 5/6 (1.83) to 4/9 (1.44) after the Blues finished the week on the 4th.

Tuchel's men will be a weary lot, fighting on multiple fronts and with Premier League fixtures against the likes of Manchester City, Arsenal and Leicester City coming up in May, the Blues will have to be at their best if their next season's Champions League aspirations are to be achieved.

Liverpool

Premier League champions Liverpool, who are the next favourites, have endured a miserable season by their high standards.

Jurgen Klopp's Reds have dropped out from being the bookies' fourth favourite after consecutive 1-1 draws against Leeds United and Newcastle that have left them behind even West Ham by a point after 33 games.

The odds for Liverpool's Top Four finish are available at 15/8 (2.87) which is down from 4/5 (1.80) a fortnight ago. Long-term injuries to a host of their key players along with a dismal figure of just six wins from their last 19 EPL outings have left hopes of a top four berth dangling by a thread.

Nothing short of 15 points from the last available 15 from the five games in hand will suffice if they are to keep their Champions League dreams alive.

Only 1st May's encounter with Manchester United could prove to be the biggest hurdle, otherwise forthcoming fixtures after that against the likes of Southampton, West Bromwich, Burnley and Crystal Palace look surmountable.

West Ham

David Moyes' West Ham have been the great revelation of the season.

After staving off near-relegation in the previous edition, the Hammers are the English bookmakers sixth favourite for a Top Four finish in the current one.

The London outfit though have seen their odds lengthen from 4/7 (1.57) to 11/2 (6.50) after back-to-back defeats to Newcastle and Chelsea that have dropped them a notch below to the fifth spot on the EPL table from an impressive fourth a fortnight ago.

But with games against Burnley, Everton, Brighton, West Brom and Southampton, the Hammers can surely be in the hunt for a Top Four finish.

Tottenham & Everton

Carabao Cup runners-up Tottenham have struggled for consistency throughout the season and are 7/1 (8.0) to make up the 5 points on Chelsea to book their place in the Champions League.

Everton odds are available at 20/1 (21.0) are the only side in Top half to have played a game less and at 52 points are just 2 short of 6th placed Liverpool. There could be room for improvement here.
