Following a shock 2-0 win over Liverpool earlier in the season, last week's 2-0 result against Watford was just the second win for Burnley from their six outings in the Premier League season so far. Goals have been really hard to come by, with the club having found the back of the net only once from their other four games. But the win against Watford has helped them to move up the table to the 13th place.

Michael Keane and Sam Vokes have shown imagination upfront, with Keane the more brilliant of the two. Ben Mee, Stephen Ward and Matthew Lowton are beginning to show resilience at the back. In fact, Burnley has a pretty decent defensive line-up as is evinced from the paltry 8 goals they have conceded so far, which is less than clubs like Leicester City, Watford, Liverpool and Chelsea. Whether this will hold them in good stead at Turf Moor on Sunday against the upbeat Gunners remains to be seen.

In all likelihood the Arsenal forward combine of Sanchez-Ozil-Walcott-Iwobi will put relentless pressure on the Burnley defense and if the hosts are contemplating hitting on the break, the likes of Bellerín, Koscielny and Monreal have been of late, too swift and efficient to thwart any such moves.

Arsenal have scored at least 3 goals in each of the four of their 6 outings and have truly been on the upcurve since their turnaround 3-1 win against Watford in August. They have won four games on the trot since then. Few expect the Gunners not to bag a fifth win on October 2, Sunday.

Arsenal have dropped just one match against Burnley from the last six the two have played. That was a 1-1 draw and the rest have all been wins for the Gunners. The odds show the visitors to Turf Moor as clean favorites.
