The trio’s Goodison Park futures are uncertain this summer

Forgotten men Kevin Mirallas, James McCarthy and Oumar Niasse have been included in Everton’s squad for the club’s pre-season tour of Switzerland.

The Toffees face Sion on Sunday before taking on Monaco on Friday with both games being held at the Stade Saint-Marc in Bagnes.

Mirallas and Niasse endured disappointing loan spells with Fiorentina and Cardiff, respectively, last season, while McCarthy struggled to nail down a starting place after recovering from a broken leg.

Coleman believes his Republic of Ireland team-mate will try to leave Goddison Park this summer.

Last month, he said: ”I think he’ll probably be trying to get out, there’s no secret of that. He needs a fresh start.

“After what I’ve been through, I could just see something change.

“Just one training session, I saw something change and I was like ‘he’s fine, he’s ready to go’, and he’s just not been getting in. That’s been his problem.

“You know, I texted him last night and said ‘Look, you’ve got a big part to play in this Ireland team so get yourself right and get ready to go’, and I’m sure he will do that.”

Everton boss Marco Silva’s options were significantly strenghened with the return of first-teamers Gylfi Sigurdsson, Seamus Coleman, Lucas Digne, Michael Keane and Jordan Pickford earlier this week.

Pickford is likely to start in goal against Sion and a back-four of Coleman, Mason Holgate, Keane and Digne could make up a strong defence.

Everton academy graduate Nathan Broadhead, Sigurdsson and Theo Walcott could be supported by new permanent signing Andre Gomes and returning Bolton loan star Callum Connolly.

Cenk Tosun suffered a knee injury earlier this summer and might not be risked from the start, meaning Niasse could lead the line.
