Anthony Joshua jokingly gave a shopkeeper some grief after they sold out of his Lucozade bottle this weekend.

The former heavyweight world champion, who will attempt to regain his titles from Andy Ruiz Jr in December, has a sponsorship deal with the drinks company that sees his face plastered across one of the flavours.

However, when he popped into a corner shop in Golders Green to pick up a bottle on Saturday night, he was disappointed to find they had none left.

In videos uploaded on his social media pages, AJ can be heard teasing the man behind the counter, saying: “Boss, where is it, where’s my Lucozade? Where’s the Lucozade?”

The shopkeeper replied: “We sold everything, because of you we sold it.”

To which the heavyweight joked: “You sold everything? Lucozade we need to stock up, location Golders Green.”

The following morning, Joshua posted an additional clip in which his friend KD returned from another shop with the bottle he’d desired.

He refreshed himself and kept his mind focused on things outside of boxing, meanwhile his opponent Ruiz is reportedly now disputing the money for their rematch.
