    Well done lads both teams

  4. the english was offside last try but ireland shoild have won too many mistakes and carrying the fav tag did not go well with irish

  5. Random Ashe says:

That really didn't look like double movement to me. Its not as if he was driving forward or crawling. His feet and knees remain stationary, it was just the rest of his body flattening out after initially hitting the ground. Of course, if you put into slow motion then it looks like 5 seconds passed between movements, but it was a split-second pause during a single movement.

  6. Wade Sharp says:

That England left winger always chips and chases…..

  7. Wade Sharp says:

Cant wit for ABs to play these 2 teams ye ahhhhh

  8. Can someone please explain why the ref plays penalty advantages of just 3 seconds sometimes and other times of over 10 seconds?

  9. Ash Ashroff says:

For all you from this Hemisphere, us English are the only one to win Rugby World Cup in 2003 and Runners-up four years later.

Achieve such feats first before you open your gaps.

Masters are always Masters, know your position in the hierarchy.

  10. Use of shoulder to tackle; well what else are you going to tackle with then Ref

  11. manuls23 says:

3rd England try shouldn't have been awarded, there was clearly a forward pass right before the kick. You can see that the ball travels at least 2 meters ahead even though the receiver was behind the ball at the moment of the pass.

  12. Chew_Jacka says:

Poorly officiated match tbh. Curry's tackle was neither late nor high, at the most a penalty if you claim its late. The first Irish try was clearly held up, and Vunipola should have been given his try as it wasn't a second movement it was one slow movement. But respect to Ireland and England it was a great game

  13. joeskienz says:

I wonder if Ireland have gotten All Blacks-syndrome and peaked too early before a World Cup? Beaten by lowly Australia last year and now the English.

  14. daithi says:

England did not deserve to win.

  15. Gutted Ireland lost but fair play England. Small consolation is that England have now joined us in the '' boring '' bracket according to the Kiwi press.

  16. It was a joy to watch the match. The Irish can never be underestimated but the England side were fantastic.

  17. Sum Boi says:

Slade should get a lot of credit for his second try. That reaction time to catch the ball after accidentally hitting it off his knee just after the interception was impressive to watch.

  18. All English people are cunts without exception.

  19. makos try should of been allowed, and that first irish try was clearly held up…

  20. Enrique 1983 says:

    3:15
It's the same Try that the Pumas did in RWC 15.
    A failure in the System.

  21. Dee Cns says:

    Half the stadiums empty.

  22. Adam Brace says:

As an England fan watching this of course it was wonderful, in a truly and deeply satisfying way. But I have to tell you this: it is more wonderful because it was against the Irish.
A very good side – but from a culture whose instinctive resentment and derision of England always seems so insecure and pathetic, so rooted in misinformation and a victim complex that they perpetuate. And because rugby was really their only outlet for this – as well as being snide about the English in pubs and offices while in England living here as economic migrants – to beat them at home in front of their own fans who complacently drank in the stands at kick off, and to beat them in a manner that was nothing short of a physical and emotional humiliation (sexton could barely pass by the end; look at the way o'mahony weeps; a 5-0 points victory away) – it all just felt simply amazing.

  23. cass iopée says:

I don't usually comment about the ref decisions because the respect around it is what makes rugby such a beautiful sport but come on, a damn yellow gard? Are the english the new All Blacks? A yellow card on this means that any player could come and launch his arm into your throat at high speed and only be out for 10 minutes? Aren't refs supposed to protect the players first? I don't even understand how did it not create a scandal. That was purely outrageous. Could have changed the match, even if the english team was astonishing after it.

  24. I'm Irish and feel disappointed by the result . However I've massive respect for the English players because they showed great character to get back to winning ways after a bit of a wobble last year. I wouldn't be upset to see them win the world cup if we can't manage it. Ireland need a big game next week to get momentum back.

  25. Is the refs mic outputting to the stadium speakers these days?? It's the only downside in going to a game (if you can get a ticket that is)

  26. localmo88 says:

Kiwi fan here, England were awesome but it is early days in a big year for Rugby. I think both teams will be super dangerous in Japan later this year!

  27. jrmop 09 says:

Ireland just realised it doesn't take one win against the All blacks to be number one, you gotta beat everyone after that game as well.

  28. Suleman Shah says:

    Next world rugby champion England

  29. England showing why the world hates them. Terrible losers, worse winners.
