NFL betting Picks Week 17 2021 & Expert Parlay Picks! - (2025)
Updated: 19/01/2025
It was another fantastic week of NFL football as we head towards the final games of the regular season. Entering Week 17, there are a ton of teams that have nothing to play for this weekend and it can result in a few blowout games or some shocking turnouts.
Either way, we take a look at some of the best possible picks that you can make during the final week of the regular season and we kick off our list in the city of Cincinnati.
Top NFL betting Picks Week 17
The first matchup on our list is the Baltimore Ravens against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Baltimore Ravens vs Cincinnati Bengals
Sunday 01/03 – 01:00 PM
Baltimore is currently on a decent winning streak and are coming off a dominating win over the New York Giants in their last game out. Their offense has been flourishing in recent weeks due to Lamar Jackson and his improved play towards the end of the season which has made this team a huge threat once again.
They also happen to own one of the best defenses in the NFL with an immense amount of talent on all three levels of the football. On the other side of things, the Bengals have won their last two games without their rookie quarterback Joe Burrow in the lineup but aren’t that great of a team just yet.
They were able to capitalize on the Houston Texans terrible defense in their last game and took advantage of their division rivals while they were on a losing streak.
This team still remains as one of the worst in the league despite their last two games and should be in a bad position to win this weekend as Baltimore needs to win this game in order to clinch themselves a spot in the postseason.
This is a division game so the score may be relatively close but it would be incredibly hard to bet against Jackson and this hot Ravens squad right now. You can take them with confidence this week.
Pick: Baltimore Ravens
Jacksonville Jaguars vs Indianapolis Colts
Sunday 01/03 – 4:25 PM
The next game up on this list is the Jacksonville Jaguars against the Indianapolis Colts.
Jacksonville recently secured the number one spot in the NFL draft as they sit at 1-15 on the season with almost no positive takeaways on their roster outside of rookie sensation James Robinson.
Their offense still doesn’t have a definitive answer at the starting quarterback position while their defense is among the worst in the league outside of their linebacker corps. Injuries have also hit the team pretty hard this season and that has contributed to this team’s lack of success.
Meanwhile, the Colts enter a must win game in order to make the playoffs and should enter this game with a ton of intensity and energy in order to clinch themselves a playoff spot.
Their offense has been great lately despite the loss in their last game to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Their rushing attack has helped out their passing attack tremendously and it has made their entire offense more balanced and unpredictable.
As for their defense, they have a ton of talent on all three levels and are bound to make it difficult for anybody to score against them.
This should also be a close game due to it being a division rivalry, but the Colts are the far better team in almost every single aspect of the game and should be able to take home a victory this week without a doubt.
Pick: Indianapolis Colts
Seattle Seahawks vs the San Francisco 49ers
Sunday 01/03 – 4:25 PM
The battle between the Seattle Seahawks and the San Francisco 49ers is another great pick to make this weekend.
Seattle is coming off a dominant win against their division rivals the Los Angeles Rams while playing outstanding defense throughout the matchup.
Their offense has slowed down greatly since the beginning of the season, but they were able to get it done last week against a very talented Rams defense that features Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey.
As for their defense, they have been improving each and every week and happen to be one of the better units in the league when they are all healthy.
Their opponents in this matchup can’t say the same as the 49ers have been decimated by injuries all season long.
Their offense has been nowhere near what it should be without Jimmy Garoppolo, but they were able to get their superstar tight end George Kittle back from his injury last week and he should be good to go once again this weekend.
Their defense has been the unit that was hit the hardest as guys like Nick Bosa, Solomon Thomas and Richard Sherman have all missed a very large number of games this season and it has badly hurt a squad that made the Super Bowl last season.
However, this team was able to dominate their division rivals last week as they beat the Arizona Cardinals handily.
They probably would have defeated them by even more if it weren’t for multiple missed field goals by their kicker Robbie Gould. Similar to the other two games above, this game should be relatively close throughout as each of these clubs know each other very well due to them being division rivals.
Although, the Seahawks are the far better team and to make matters even worse for the 49ers, they are entering this game healthy which is something that they aren’t.
Regardless of how the game looks in the first half, this Seattle team should be able to rally or dominate this game straight from the jump and secure themselves a top three seed in the NFC while the 49ers have virtually nothing else to play for besides their pride on this one.
Take Seattle with confidence here.
Pick: Seattle Seahawks
