Race 1 17.45
Into the Gray (2) has looked much improved since a trainer change. He finished a neck ahead of Rattlesden (6) last month despite being checked late on. He should be forwardly placed in a race where it should pay to be near the front.
Selection: Into the Gray (2)
Danger: Rattlesden (6)
Race 5 19.36
The scratching of Battle Royale (1) has made this maiden a lot weaker. Unless the trio of second time starters improve significantly, it should be Graduation Day for My Kinda Kid (5). He’s been fading late on in stronger maidens over a mile at Turfway Park. The cut back to six furlongs should suit. Mo Freedom (8) who was the subject to a gamble on debut last summer is obviously well thought of.
Selection: My Kinda Kid (5)
Danger: Mo Freedom (8)
Race 7 20.33
Color Me Sexy (5) freaked last time winning by a dozen lengths. If she can repeat that run, she’ll be hard to beat. She is one of a few in here who may be part of a crowded front end and could set this up for a runner more patiently ridden.
Dim Sum (4) isn’t as talented but at least she can pass horses late on. She may run big at a fair price. Dear Benny (6) comes out of stronger races at Turfway Park and is live for all money.
Selection: Dim Sum (4)
Danger: Dear Benny (6)
