Kentucky Derby Odds 2018 latest: Justify Makes the Leap to the top of the 2018 betting market with impressive display.

Another week brought another new favorite for the 2018 Kentucky Derby futures betting market. That leader is now owned by Justify. The horse only broke his maiden last February. He has though taken the lead at 4/1. This after he won last Saturday’s Grade 1 Santa Anita Derby. It was Justify's first-ever graded stakes race.

Justify who is trained by Bob-Baffert won by three lengths over Bolt d’Oro. The second who was the former Kentucky Derby favorite, has now drifted out to 10/1 after Saturday’s result.

However Justify wasn’t the sole big winner this last weekend. Good Magic took over first place on the Road to the Kentucky Derby standings after winning the G2 Blue Grass Stakes.

The reigning Breeders’ Cup Juvenile champion is sitting fifth on the Derby 2018 betting odds list at 12/1. And it was Vino Rosso crossing the wire first at the G2 Wood Memorial, earning his first graded-stakes victory – although that wasn't enough of a breakthrough to produce any betting odds for the Derby race on May 5th.

Of course there's still plenty of time left for other horses to make an impression. The G1 Arkansas Derby at Oaklawn Park and the G3 Lexington Stakes at Keeneland are this Saturday 14th. The last two prep races on the schedule; Magnum Moon and Solomini, both 16/1, are expected to duke it out at Oaklawn.
