Judicial Rules to send Scoop6 Surging into Sprint Cup Saturday

Despite smaller fields than usual this Saturday, the Scoop6 eluded punters after Judicial landed the Beverley Bullet to send the bet surging into Sprint Cup weekend at Haydock, where an estimated £300,000 in combined funds will await punters.

Although market leaders Justanotherbottle (4/1jf) and Oh This Is Us (5/2f) took the opening two legs with 4407 tickets still intact, wins for Hyanna (10/1) and Lavender’s Blue (12/1) did the damage – whittling those down to just four following the fourth leg, none of whom chose Judicial who defended his unbeaten record at Beverley.

It means the win fund of £155,388 and bonus fund of £48,335 rollover to next Saturday with Group One action at Haydock the centrepiece.

Totepool spokesman Matt Hulmes said “With just 60 declared runners across the six legs today we expected the Scoop6 to be won, yet it wasn’t to be the case with a couple of big priced winners in the middle legs doing the damage. It means we can look forward to combined pots of around £300,000 for Sprint Cup weekend at Haydock.”

The place fund paid £181.00 and was won by 159 units.
