Grand National Postcast: Grand National 2019 Tips | Saturday at Aintree | Sunday Racing

Updated: 27/05/2023

Bruce Millington, Paul Kealy, David Jennings and Bet365's Frank Hickey with their tips for the Grand National 2019, plus the rest of Saturday's Aintree card.

On the show:
– The biggest race of the year is finally upon us and with Tiger Roll backing up his form at Cheltenham, can anything stop him matching Red Rum's feat of defending the Grand National? Paul Kealy hates backing favourites but even he has succumbed to Tiger's charms.

– With Bet365 offering six EW places there are plenty of other options to back at bigger prices. We look at the best of the rest including Anibale Fly, Dounikos, Vintage Clouds and Step Back.

– There are plenty of other races on Saturday's Aintree card including three Grade 1s, where Apple's Jade looks to put her disappointing run at Cheltenham behind her in the Ryanair Stayers' Hurdle.

– We also look at racing on Sunday with a big meeting at Fairyhouse, plus Frank has picked one that has snuck under the radar that the boys are lumping into…

  3. Walk in the mill. At 28/1 it’s a must for an EW bet

  4. Surely Rathvinden is gonna run a huge race. Ticks alot of boxes

  5. Completely agree with DJ on Brewinupastorm looked top quality and could have beat Birchdale with ease, easily the best bet of the day

Rough Quest won it at 7/2 1996..

apples jade far too short at 7/4. will she be at her best? I doubt it.

  9. Think Earth summit went off 7/2

  10. David Jennings class act when it comes to racing tipps. Tiger no value at current price but would be happy if he wins, great horse. I like rathvindon but hopeing i can get 12s in the morning wont have him if single figure price will go the Rocco rout at 40s EW and i think the horse is called Dinikos also 40 EW.
