Ciarrai Abu arrives as one of the most progressive three-year-olds in the field and looks capable of landing this valuable Heritage Handicap.

Harry Eustace's gelding has improved with every run this season, winning a Goodwood maiden before following up in determined fashion at Ascot three weeks ago. He travelled strongly, finished powerfully and still looked green when hitting the front, suggesting there's plenty more to come. A 6lb rise looks fair and today's step up to 1m2f could unlock further improvement.

Harmonics is an obvious danger. The Gosden-trained colt looked hugely impressive when bolting up in a Doncaster novice before running with plenty of credit in a much stronger Royal Ascot handicap. He raced a little keenly that day but wasn't beaten far and remains open to significant progress.
