Itsalladream looks primed to gain revenge on Lisleigh Lad after an encouraging handicap chase debut at Wexford. Paul Gilligan's seven-year-old had previously been competing in much stronger company and shaped well when staying on into fourth, just six lengths behind today's rival over a slightly longer trip. The drop back to 2m2f around his local track looks a positive, and as a previous Galway winner, he can take another step forward.

Le Nez Creux is the obvious danger on class. Gavin Cromwell's French recruit was a dual chase winner before joining the yard and ran an excellent race on her Irish debut at Ayr, where the drop to 2m looked against her. Returning from a break over this intermediate trip could unlock further improvement, and she's well treated if reproducing her best French form.

The Banger Doyle appeals as the each-way value. The veteran has shown signs of returning to form this summer, running well on the Flat before finishing a solid second over fences at Killarney. He remains well handicapped on old form and Danny Mullins is an eye-catching booking.

Blood Destiny is the class act but must concede weight all round and has struggled in handicap chases previously, while Lisleigh Lad commands respect after a fluent Wexford success but now faces a sharper test around Galway under a penalty.

Coming Up Easy also warrants respect if returning anywhere near the form that saw him rise rapidly through the handicap ranks last season.

Value Angle

The Banger Doyle has been knocking on the door and his recent Killarney second suggested another success isn't far away. Off a workable mark, he looks overpriced in an open contest.
