£650,000 Scoop6 Centred around Shergar Cup

The Shergar Cup forms the centrepiece of the Scoop6 this weekend with the annual team event at Ascot hosting four of the six legs.

Haydock is our destination for the other pair of races with all six legs being broadcast live on ITV4.

The win and bonus funds continue to rise and following rollovers throughout Glorious Goodwood the win fund begins this weekend worth £105,596 while the bonus fund has ballooned to £440,125.

There is a reserve system in use at the Shergar Cup and as per totepool rules, reserves are considered runners until declared otherwise and any tickets on a non-runner will be transferred onto the SP favourite.

Totepool spokesman Matt Hulmes said “The Shergar Cup is always a fun event and has attracted some of the world’s top jockeys from all over the globe. It has certainly thrown up some competitive ten runner races and forms the majority of this afternoon’s Scoop6, where an estimated £650,000 could be in the combined funds by the first race at 1:40pm.”

The totejackpot also takes place at the Shergar Cup event at Ascot on Saturday afternoon, getting underway at 1.05pm, while the totetrifecta rollover race is the Vulcan Village Handicap, the 1:55pm Haydock. Sunday’s jackpot card is the first six races from Windsor.
