£450,000 Scoop6 on St Patrick’s Thursday at Cheltenham

The third day of the festival is St Patrick’s Thursday and following two rollovers so far this week, the Scoop6 is estimated to reach £450,000 in combined funds

The win fund will start Thursday morning worth £176,853 in the pool with the bonus fund ballooning to £111,763.

The first two winners on Wednesday were popular as 8/1 scorer City Island and 4/1 victor Topofthegame were selected by 626 units, but only 3 of these followed up with 28/1 winner William Henry in the third leg. Tiger Roll kept the dream alive after leg four for a solo ticket holder but their fifth leg selection, Star Max was well held behind stable companion Band Of Outlaws.

totepool spokesman Matt Hulmes said: “William Henry did the most damage in Wednesday’s Scoop6 and Band Of Outlaws finished the job. It means we will have another big pot to shoot at on St Patrick’s Thursday with an estimated £450k shared between the win and bonus pots.”

All six races in the Scoop6 on Thursday are from the festival. It gets underway at 1:30pm with the JLT Novices Chase as the first five races and the seventh contest making up the six legs. The Dawn Run Mares’ Novice Hurdle at 4:50pm is omitted.

There is also an extra bonus of £100,000 available courtesy of Betfred boss Fred Done for a single Scoop6 winner from one of the following qualifying channels – Betfred shops, Betfred.com or Betfred mobile.

The Scoop6 place fund paid £16.20 and was won by 665 units.

The toteplacepot paid £42.90 on Ladies’ Day.

The totejackpot paid £40,200.30 after Band Of Outlaws took the sixth leg and was won by 1.50 units.

The totejackpot will once again consist of the first six races at Cheltenham.
