Leicester vs Tottenham: Kick-off time, how to watch on TV and live stream, team news, expected line-ups - (2026)
Updated: 21/01/2026
With the agony of the north London derby slowly dissipating like sorrowful mists on the ocean, Tottenham are ready to sail on into their busy December fixture schedule.
Having recovered from derby defeat with a win against Southampton on Wednesday evening, Spurs now face a trip to Leicester and a chance to put even more distance between themselves and a demoralising result at the Emirates.
With Burnley, Everton, Bournemouth, Wolves and Cardiff coming up in the Premier League between now and New Year’s Day, Mauricio Pochettino’s side will want to put a run together and show that – while they are certainly outsiders – their title ambitions are at least half credible.
Leicester will be tough opponents, however, having beaten Spurs 2-1 at home last season.
Here’s everything you need to know about the game:

Team news and expected line-ups
With Victor Wanyama, Davinson Sanchez, Mousa Dembele and Vincent Janssen all mid-to-long-term absentees for Tottenham, the squad has been further depleted this week. Making his return from a groin strain against Southampton, Kieran Trippier suffered a recurrence of his injury and will now miss the trip to the King Power.
Juan Foyth has a hamstring injury and is also set for a spell on the sidelines, while Erik Lamela is out with a thigh problem. Having been suspended in the midweek after picking up two cautions at the Emirates, Jan Vertonghen will at least be able to return to the team.
Leicester have injury worries of their own, not least the absence of Jamie Vardy thanks to a groin strain. Happily for Claude Puel, Harry Maguire, Jonny Evans and Rachid Ghezzal will all be available after some time in the treatment room – not that he needs to rush them all back.
