After the 5-0 crushing of Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk in the semi-finals, Antonio Conte's definitely look the favourites on paper when they meet five-time champions Sevilla on Friday night for the Europa Cup final in Cologne.

Sevilla on the other hand, were superb while dispatching off Roma 4-0 in the two-legged quarter-final and followed that up with a narrow 2-1 win over Manchester United in the semis.

Los Rojiblancos no doubt will be much tougher opponents than Shakhtar for Inter, but they will have to keep in mind the fortuitous moments they had against United when they came under intense attack and were let off by some callous finishing by the Red Devils.

They may not be that lucky against the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez who have made it a habit of scoring in every game.

To cap that is a miserly defense that has let in just one goal from their last seven games what with ex-Atletico Madrid legend Diego Godin minding things at the back.

Lukaku has now scored in 10 successive Europa League outings and will be eager to add to that tally on the 21st.

Martinez and Lukaku have been scoring wantonly with 54 goals between them this season.

Sevilla have scored 20 goals in 11 matches in the Europa League and in Fernando, Suso and Youssef En-Nesyri they have the firepower to trouble Inter’s defence.

Ever Banega has proved to be arguably the best mid-fielder in the Europa League this season and will be the architect of all of Sevilla's potent moves on the field.

The La Liga side have gone through 20 unbeaten matches and won eight of their last nine outings.

As for Inter Milan team news, Alexis Sanchez remains a major doubt with a thigh injury while Matias Vecino is recovering from a knee surgery. Sevilla's Julen Lopetgui has no fitness issues as such going into Friday night's clash.

Inter have scored 13 from their previous five Europa League outings which of course includes the five they scored in the semi-final against Shakhtar.

  • While several of Sevilla’s games have ended with 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 scorelines, five of Inter’s last nine games have averaged over 2.5 goals.
  • Europa League finals also tend to be dramatic affairs too, with over 2.5 goals occurring in 6 of the last 8 final games.

Sevilla expected line-up:

Bounou (goal); Kounde, Navas, Diego Carlos, Reguilon, Ocampos, Banega, Moreno, Fernando, Suso, En-Nesyri.

Inter-Milan expected line-up:

Handanovic (goal), Godin, De Vrij, Young, D’Ambrosio, Bastoni, Gagliardini, Barella, Brozovic, Lukaku, Martinez
