Burnley boss Sean Dyche says his side are in a “better place” and is confident they can avoid the drop ahead of the visit of Spurs in the early Premier League kick-off on Saturday (Burnley 7/2 – Premier League Relegation).

The Clarets are three points clear of the bottom three after a 3-1 win at relegation rivals Brighton last time out.

Burnley are unbeaten in their last seven league outings although Dyche has stressed they still have plenty of work to do to retain their Premier League status.

Dyche told reporters on Thursday: “We’ve changed on the positive side and the players deserve a lot of credit. But we have to continue in that vein.”

Burnley could come up against Harry Kane when they entertain Tottenham after Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino revealed the England skipper will be assessed ahead of the clash at Turf Moor.

Dyche has confirmed Burnley widemen Robbie Brady and Johann Berg Gudmundsson are available, but midfielder Steven Defour remains sidelined with a calf injury.

Burnley are 9/2 to win on Saturday, Tottenham can be backed at 7/10 and the draw is 11/4.

Chris Wood grabbed two goals in the win over Brighton and the Burnley striker is 12/5 to score anytime or 8/1 to open the scoring.

Odds subject to change.
