Do you agree with our Liverpool and Tottenham combined XI?

Updated: 27/01/2023
Liverpool can take a huge step towards the Premier League title on Sunday, by winning arguably their toughest remaining fixture against Tottenham Hotspur.
The Reds are locked in a tight-battle with Manchester City at the top of the table, and face a Spurs side scrapping for a top four place.
Jurgen Klopp’s men may be 4/7 favourites, but the Lilywhites do have some serious firepower that could worry the Reds back-line.
All this being said, we’ve racked our brains and come up with a combined starting eleven, which could go on to dominate all before them.
Check it out below!
We’ve picked out four players to profile that could play a big part on Sunday.
Alisson Becker (GK, Liverpool)
Yes, Hugo Lloris may be a World Cup winner but Alisson has had a stand-out season so far. The Liverpool stopper leads the way with 17 clean sheets as his side chase the Premier League title.
The 26-year-old has all the hallmarks of a modern day goalkeeper and is sure to be crucial in the run-in.
Jan Vertonghen (CB, Tottenham)
Jan Vertonghen is the only Spurs man in our combined back-four. If Toby Alderweireld had outshone his Belgian compatriot in the last few years, then this campaign was Vertonghen’s comeback season.
Liverpool may have conceded the least goals in the Prem, but Vertonghen’s versatility and athleticism would complement Virgil van Dijk’s muscle and composure.
Fabinho (CM, Liverpool)
Our midfield three is anchored by new Reds signing Fabinho.
It took a few months for Klopp to throw the Brazilian into the starting eleven, but Fabinho hasn’t looked back since making his debut in October.
He was always a calm, composed and versatile player and has already played across the defence and in midfield this season.
His silky touch and diligence is crucial to any midfield!
Mo Salah (Forward, Liverpool)
Salah would have been a shoe-in this time last year – and yes he still makes the cut now, but with a little more competition.
His Liverpool team-mate Sadio Mane has hit a purple patch with nine goals in as many matches.
But a front-three of Mane-Salah and Harry Kane would terrify any defence in world football.
The Egyptian King is the crowning glory.
