Champions League Odds: Liverpool are 1/10 to make the final and Salah 2/1 for Ballon d’Or

The Anfield crowd got full value for their match ticket price on Tuesday night when Mo Salah-powered Liverpool into a 5-0 lead up on Roma. However a late fightback from the Italians leaves a possible chance that the Reds will not make the final.

Liverpool's amazing season looks like finishing with an appearance in the Champions League final but they may come to rue giving up two late goals to Roma in last night's semi-final first leg.

The Reds were backed at 1.01 to make it into the final when holding a 5-0 lead over their Italian opposition and just 10 minutes left on the clock.

But that ‘To Qualify' price is out to 1.10 after Edin Dzeko and Diego Perotti scored late on to give Roma a sliver of hope. It's been done before as well as Eusebio Di Francesco's side famously overcame a 4-1 first leg deficit against Barcelona in the last round so the precedent has been set.

Nevertheless, the winner market offers a view on the Italian side's overall chances – they are the 38.00 outsiders in a four-runner betting heat headed, ahead of yesterday evening's Bayern Munich v Real Madrid clash, by Liverpool at 2.60.

Mo Salah – Ballon d'Or winner?

Jurgen Klopp's had earlier side lit up the tie with the Fabulous Three of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino scoring to give the Merseysiders a huge advantage.

Salah squared for Liverpool's third, scored by Mane, and then repeated the trick for Firmino's first. The Brazilian made it 5-0 a few minutes later.

The Anfield crowd were dreaming of the Ukraine final at that point but the mini Roma fightback afterwards has left the small chance of the second leg turning into a nightmare.
