Tom Scudamore: “Ramses De Teillee has a cracking each-way chance.”

Top jockey discusses his weekend rides

Saturday – Ascot

12.40 – Envole Toi

This horse has some decent form in France, including winning over fences at Auteuil and it’ll be very interesting to see how that translates over here. Results like that are very promising and fingers crossed I can get off to a good start on the day.

Alexandra has done very well with her string and hopefully this can be another good horse.

1.15 – The Twisler

I was on board The Twisler when he won last time out at Worcester and he ran very well throughout the summer. He is building up some good form and experience and he will continue improving.

We know he will handle the going here so he’s certainly got a decent chance of winning again here.

1.50 – Inaminna

I was very impressed with this horse when it won at Chepstow towards the back end of last season.

This is his first time over fences and it does look a hot race. Amour De Nuit and Sternrubin especially, as well as the others, have to be respected but you have to start somewhere and I’m certain that Inaminna will make a good chaser.

3.35 – Ramses De Teillee

This is the horse’s first run back after a wind operation. He had a great season last year and he missed his last race due to the ground being a bit too quick at Aintree but hopefully it’s going to be more in his favour here.

I think he can run very well and he has a cracking each way chance here.

Sunday – Carlisle

1.30 – Coningsby

Coningsby is having his first run over fences and he should take to them very well.

I schooled him last week and he was jumping really nicely and despite the competitive race I’d like to think that he has a good chance.

2.40 – Dauphine Ereine

Her form has been okay since coming over to the UK, running well at Ffos Las last time out and just being touched off the time before that at Chepstow.

She is improving all the time and Carlisle should suit perfectly. We are expecting a big run from her.

3.10 – Court Tycoon

Court Tycoon is another with some good form, finishing third at Punchestown and winning at Wexford in his last few races.

This is the first time I’ll of ridden the horse and this looks race looks a great opportunity for him. I’m hopeful he’ll run very well.
