Slavisa Jokanovic clear favourite for Nottingham Forest hotseat

Carvalhal and Rowett also in frame to succeed Karanka
Our traders have installed Slavisa Jokanovic as the favourite to replace Aitor Karanka at Nottingham Forest.
There’s been plenty of backing for the ex-Fulham boss, who leads the way at 4/7.
Jokanovic knows what it takes to secure promotion from the Championship, having taken up Watford and the Cottagers.
Carlos Carvalhal, Gary Rowett, Leonardo Jardim and Pedro Martins all share 8/1 second-favouritism.
Karanka’s replacement will be Forest’s 11th full-time manager since 2011. First-team coach Simon Ireland will take charge against Reading this weekend with Forest 11/10 favourites.
“We opened betting this morning on the new Nottingham Forest manager and it’s been one-way traffic so far. Punters are backing the former Fulham man Jokanovic to be next into the hotseat. He is now odds-on to replace Karanka and will surely have promotion at the first attempt as his aim,” said Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead.
“There’s some big names behind Jokanovic in the betting if he doesn’t end up taking the job, and Carlos Carvalhal and Gary Rowett are two potential options if they choose another experienced Championship manager,” added Aitkenhead.
