Serie A Preview: Magnificent Milik the difference in Napoli v Lazio?

Betting preview and odds for matchday 20 in Serie A
After the midweek Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana action, it’s back down to business this weekend as Serie A returns for the first time in 2019.
Things get going with AS Roma v Torino on Saturday afternoon. Then in the evening Inter Milan host a Sassuolo side that have more than had their number in recent years. That match gets the preview treatment, although it’s Napoli’s top-four clash with Inter Milan which gets us started.
Napoli v Lazio (Sunday 7:30pm)
There’s never a good time to visit Napoli at Stadio San Paolo. Carlo Ancelotti’s men have lost just once at home to a side other than Juventus since late-February 2017. Their recent form is good too – and that’s in large part down to the impressive scoring record of Arkadiusz Milik.
The 24-year-old has seven goals in his last eight matches and will look to take advantage of a Lazio defence which has failed to keep a clean sheet in all bar two of the last 10 away matches.
Unsurprisingly, man-of-the-moment Milik is 21/20 Anytime and 16/5 to Score First. His side are 10/11 to keep up the pressure on Juventus by taking all three points. Lazio are rated 3/1 shots, while you can back the draw at 13/5. Alternatively, Napoli to Win and Both Teams to Score is 13/5.
Inter Milan v Sassuolo (Saturday 7:30pm)
There’s just something about Inter Milan that Sassuolo love. The Serie A minnows have won their last four matches against the three-time European champions, twice winning 2-1 at the San Siro. They’re 20/1 to pull off the same scoreline again this weekend.
Their form against Inter hasn’t been a flash in the pan, though. Go further back and they’ve won six of the pair’s last seven matches. This one could be slightly more difficult, though. Inter are in terrific nick on their own patch and have shown much more resilience, too. Seven clean sheets and a 1-1 draw at home to Barcelona in that time is testament to that.
Inter are 2/5 favourites based on the formbook, otherwise it’s 13/2 for another Sassuolo shock and 18/5 about the draw. Young forward Lautaro Martinez is a man in form having netted three goals in as many matches since Christmas. He’s 13/10 to get on the scoresheet again here.

Table toppers Juventus will look to continue their dominance at the top with victory at home to Chievo on Monday night. They’re 1/9 to take the spoils against the 33/1 shots.
At the other end of the weekend, Roma will be hoping to build on their comfortable Coppa Italia win at home to Virtus Entella. The Coral traders go 8/13 about the hosts landing the spoils, with top-half Torino at 3/1. Elsewhere, AC Milan are 13/10 to turn around their poor form away at mid-table Genoa.
