The move comes after an impressive victory on his long awaited return to the track in the Galmoy Hurdle at Gowran Park.
Last year’s winner Native River (9/2) and Kemboy (7/1) are the second and third favourites respectively.
“He won the Galmoy Hurdle last year on his way to landing the RSA and whilst it’s taken a while for him to return there was no sign of any concerns for punters and he’s shortened at the head of our Gold Cup market,” added Aitkenhead.
