Latest JLT Novices’ Chase odds and betting
There’s a new favourite at the head of the betting for the JLT Novices’ Chase following a season-ending injury to Master Dino at Plumpton on Sunday.
Dipper Novices’ Chase winner Lostintranslation now finds himself at the top of the market, with the Coral traders giving him a 6/1 chance at the Festival.
He leads a tight field which includes the Amy Murphy-trained Kalashnikov at 8/1 and the quintet of Defi Du Seuil, Delta Work, La Bague Au Roi, Topofthegame and Vinndication at 10/1.
Coral’s David Stevens said, “Plenty of punters were impressed with Master Dino's Plumpton victory, and the 8-1 for the JLT we went immediately after the race. It soon became 6/1, and then 9/2 following further support, so the season-ending injury to the French raider is a blow not just to the horse's connections, but to ante-post backers too.”
