Juventus v Manchester United among the picks
A punter from East London has won £55,089.64 off an incredible £1.20 football accumulator in one of Coral’s Stratford shops.
The bet consisted of nine selections, including Manchester United’s last-gasp victory over Juventus, which also required both teams to score. The bettor didn’t just stick to the Champions League either.

Our mystery punter also picked out matches from as far afield as Costa Rica and Peru.
“This is a huge win for just a £1.20 stake which was placed on one of our bet stations in our Stratford shop. The winning punter has shown fantastic foresight to not only select winning matches in the Champions League, they have gone around the globe and found successful selections in Costa Rica, Hungary and Peru,” said Coral’s John Hill.
“What makes this bet even more incredible is that the punter had two stoppage time goals go in their favour and Hoffenheim came from 2-0 down with ten men to earn a draw against Lyon,” added Hill.
“We are still waiting for the punter to return to one of our shops to collect their winnings and it could be a case of them getting a huge surprise when they come to check the results of the matches, some of which were played in the early hours of the morning in South America,” concluded Hill.
