UK Bookmakers Back Donald Trump for Nobel Peace Prize Win

Bookmakers in the UK have slashed the odds on Donald Trump winning the next Nobel Peace Prize.
Coral had the suspiciously-coiffed US President as joint favourite to win the award as recently as Friday afternoon, when he was priced at 2/1 along with Northern Korean Supreme Leader and best friend of Dennis Rodman Kim Jong-un .
As the last winner of the Nobel Peace Prize was the' International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear weapon ‘, making this year's top spot to a boy who threatened fire and frenzy and all the rest of it against North Korea would be a strange turn of events .
Much of his presidency has been expended promising to turn North Korea into a heavily irradiated Mad Max-style post-apocalyptic wasteland, but he's pivoted to a slightly more conciliatory approach of late .
Landmark the discussions between North and South Korea began last week, and Trump has been credited by some commentators for( perhaps unintentionally) helping to drive the embittered nations toward peace .
Just today, he's posited the Peace House on the border of North and South Korea as a potential venue for talks between himself and Kim .
However, South Korean president Moon Jae-in has backed Trump's tilt at the award .
If he did manage to win, Trump would join four other US Presidents in receiving the honor, most recently his nemesis, Barack Obama, in 2009.
Jimmy Carter won in 2002, ending an 83 -year wait for a Presidential win since Woodrow Wilson's 1919 win .
The first was Theodore Roosevelt in 1906, who somehow managed to end the Russo-Japanese conflict without the aid of early morning Twitter rampages.
