Can Manchester City become the new invincibles?

Updated: 10/12/2024

The champions look untouchable again

Manchester City have started the season off in scintillating style winning eight and drawing two of their opening ten games.

Pep Guardiola’s men are now 12/1 to go unbeaten following their 1-0 victory over Tottenham at Wembley on Monday night.

This would match Arsenal’s feat in 2004 and go a long way to making them arguably the best team in Premier League history.

City are now 2/5 to land the Premier League for a second-successive time.

Coral’s John Hill said: “Manchester City came through another tricky game at Wembley with a win. On the back of their success against Spurs, we have seen strong support on Guardiola’s side going unbeaten in the Premier League this season. “

A quadruple is not out the running either, although Guardiola may want to focus his attentions on the Champions League in 2019.

Liverpool and Chelsea are keeping pace with the champions so far, but City’s experience could tell in getting over the line.

**To go unbeaten in 2018/19 Premier League campaign
12/1 Manchester City, 20/1 Liverpool, 50/1 Chelsea

**Manchester City to win quadruple this season
50/1
