Latest ante-post Cheltenham Festival odds

Apple’s Jade is the new 13/8 favourite for the 2019 Mares’ Hurdle, after a storming performance to land her third successive Hatton’s Grace Hurdle on Sunday.

Gordon Elliott’s star bolted up by 20l at Fairyhouse and has now reversed placings with last season’s winner Benie Des Dieux at the top of the market.

The 2018 winner is now an 11/4 shot to retain her crown. That puts her ahead of Laurina (4/1), Limini (7/1) and Stormy Ireland (8/1), but behind new favourite Apple’s Jade.

A busy weekend in Ireland also saw a number of further ante-post movers and shakers for next year’s Cheltenham Festival.

Chief Justice is now 25/1 from 40/1 for the Triumph Hurdle, while Quick Grabim has been cut to 16/1 from 25/1 for the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle.

**Mares’ Hurdle
7/4 Apple’s Jade, 11/4 Benie Des Dieux, 4 Laurina, 7 Limini, 8 Stormy Ireland, 10 Verdana Blue
