Score Predictions and Arsenal v Bournemouth Preview

Arsenal were able to eke out a 2-2 draw against Paris SG at the Emirates on Wednesday, thanks to a fortuitous and contentious penalty decision awarded to Alexis Sanchez. The Gunners, though, will be confronted with much easier opposition on Sunday when they take on Bournemouth at home in a Premier League clash.

Bournemouth's last noteworthy performance was in October-mid when they heaped goals on a hapless Hull City in a 6-1 win. Since then it has been a run that includes a 0-2 defeat to Middlesborough and 2-1 to Sunderland, both relegation candidates.

Midfielder Jordon Ibe who missed out last week's clash against Stoke will feature in the Cherries' starting XI at the Emirates. Former Arsenal player, Jack Wilshere is unlikely to feature against his former club while Benik Afobe, the 23-year old striker, may find his way into the final XI on Sunday. Right-back Adam Smith will be back after his one-man suspension and to give him company in the defence will be Nathan Ake, scorer of the lone goal in Bournemouth's 1-0 win over Stoke last week. Adam Federici will man the posts in the absence of the injured goalkeeper Artur Boruc. Despite patchy performances, the Cherries find themselves in the top-half at the 10th place with 15 points from their 12 games.

Despite having been unbeaten in their last eleven games in all forms of competition, Arsene Wenger's side have struggled against top-notch opposition and even minions on a couple of occassions. Two 1-1 draws against Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur 0-0 against 15th placed Middlesbrough and a narrow 3-2 win against table bottom-scrapers Swansea City tell the picture of a team struggling to find their feet as evident from some of the results in their last five  games.

But for the visiting Cherries to confront an attack that has the likes of Sanchez, Ozil, Giroud and Walcott will take a lot of gumption. Mesut Ozil is one who relishes his outings with the Cherries, having accounted for two of the four goals the Gunners have scored against the club. Arsenal have won both their games with a scoreline of 2-0 against Bournemouth since the latter's maiden entry into the Premier League in 2015.

The Gunners are firm favourites to add three points at the Emirates after November 27th's game and hold onto their 4th spot on the EPL Table.
