Updated: 18/03/2025
Welcome to the BetBright STATZONE, where we give you the stats and you make the decisions!
We are still awaiting the all clear regarding the recent horse flu situation, but if so this Saturday the ITV cameras head to Haydock, Ascot and Wincanton.
Yes, we've seven races spread across the three venues and a lot more clues ahead of the big Cheltenham and Aintree meetings on that are on the horizon.
At Haydock, the Grand National Trial is their main race – with 11 of the last 15 winners aged 9 or younger then this is a decent trends to have on your side.
Down at Ascot we've the Grade One Ascot Chase – a race the popular Cue Card has won in 2013 and 2017. Then at Wincanton we've the Kingwell Hurdle, which has ben a fair trial for both the Champion Hurdle and World Hurdle in recent years with Katchit and Inglis Drever both winning this race before going onto Cheltenham glory.
So, as always, we’ve got it all covered here on STATZONE with all the key trends, plus our verdict, on each of the LIVE ITV races – we’re confident these trends will point you in the direction of a few winners, or at least help narrow down some of the field to highlight the horses that fit the best profile of past winners – So, let’s get cracking!
