Greyhound Racing Tips – the best bets for Wednesday's midweek action at Doncaster.

There is plenty of competitive Graded action for punters to get their teeth stuck into on Wednesday with a 12-race card at Doncaster.

The meeting is of course adhering to strict social distancing guidelines and will be held behind closed doors.

However, you can watch both meetings through live streaming the action on your chosen device such as a laptop or phone.

You can do this via a number of bookmaker apps which give you the opportunity to watch all of the action literally at your fingertips.

You don't even have to have a bet as with the new Watch & Bet initiative, all you need to do is login to your bookmaker account and you can watch every race for free.

We've previewed the action with our best bets to hopefully provide some fillip to your midweek entertainment. Tonight's action focused on graded racing. This essentially means that all of the dogs running at the tracks are trained at Doncaster and run at the track most weeks.

The highest graded race is an A1 and this goes all the way down to a B5 which is one of the lowest form of action. If successful in an A1 event, you may take the step up in grade and compete in Open Racing, which is the highest quality of greyhound racing.

Doncaster Greyhound Racing Tips 02/09/2020

We enjoyed three four winners from eight selections, a creditable 50% strike-rate with last week's tips which featured 10/11, 5/6, 2/1 & 11/4 winning tips.

We're hungry for more success this time around and are looking to be quick out of the traps with a number of fancies at the meeting.

We've also picked out our two best bets of the evening which are our most confident selections, these are called the NAP and Next Best.

6:09pm: Doncaster: Marlfield Sophie (Trap Six)

Marlfield Sophie has struggled to recapture her winning form of late, but should have scored at Doncaster last week. Bringitonbuddy (Trap Two) beat her on that occasion, but our selection has the trap to suit and has a major chance here.

6:28: Doncaster: Haven Dreamer (Trap One)

A fascinating event in which this son of Farloe Blitz gets the verdict. He was an unlucky fourth last time, having previously recorded an impressive victory in A4 company by four lengths. He can regain the winning thread here.

6:58: Doncaster: Nolas Bloom (Trap Two)

A fine second last time out, that was a solid return to action and a reproduction of that effort would see him go close here.

7:18: Doncaster: Redbrick Josh (Trap Two)

The son of Candlelight King keeps hitting the crossbar and lost his chance at the start when slow away last time out. He is clearly the best dog in this race and if he can break well, he will take all the beating.

7:36: Doncaster: Ballymac Odessa (Trap Two)

This is a marked drop in class for this bitch who really should have won last time. She just needs to regain her confidence and this B6 looks a perfect fit. She was successful on her most recent start in this grade too.

7:56: Doncaster: Ballymac Rita (Trap Two)

Things have not gone to plan of late, but she looked to hold outstanding credentials before meeting a load of trouble in running on her latest start. She clearly needs to trap better, but she cannot be written off just yet.

8:38: Doncaster: Lightfoot Elyse (Trap Five)

In solid form and has filled the placings on her last two starts. This demands more, but unlike some of her other rivals, she is in solid form.

8:54: Doncaster: Drumcrow Nessa (Trap One)

A bitch in solid form. This daughter of Kinloch Brae was successful earlier this month from this draw and has run two fine races in defeat. She had every chance when third on her latest run and a reproduction of that effort would see her go close here.

9:12: Doncaster: Zero O Eight (Trap Three)

Things have failed to go his way in his last two starts when failing to justify favouritism. He met all sorts of trouble in running last time and did well in the circumstances to finish fourth. He deserves another chance in this event.

NAP (Best bet of the evening): 7:36: Ballymac Odessa

Next Best (Second chief fancy of the evening): 7:18: Redbrick Josh
