Casey Excited For California Showdown - (2026)

Paul Casey insists his main goal this year is to start winning titles consistently again and is delighted to have an early opportunity.

World number 24 Paul Casey says he is looking forward to Sunday’s final round at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am (Casey 4/6 fav Outright) after opening up a three-shot lead.

Englishman Casey, who was part of Europe’s 2018 Ryder Cup team that beat the USA at Le Golf National, made six birdies and one bogey for a five-under-par 67 on the Spyglass Hill course on Saturday.

The 41-year-old, who shared the lead after three rounds, has moved three strokes clear at the top of the leaderboard on -15 and looks well set to land his first PGA Tour title since winning the 2018 Valspar Championship.

Four-time Pebble Beach winner Phil Mickelson (9/2) is in sole possession of second on -12 and he will be in the final group alongside Casey, who is eager to add another trophy to his collection.

“I want another win,” the Englishman told Golf Channel. “I’ve made that fairly clear. I want to give myself as many opportunities as I can this season and I’ve already given myself one this week.

“I’m enjoying it and can’t wait for tomorrow.”

American pair Lucas Glover and Scott Piercy share third on -11 and the duo are priced at 9/1 and 12/1 respectively to claim the spoils come Sunday evening.

US duo Brian Gay and Matt Every are a further stroke back on -10 whilst Australian Jason Day (18/1), who could only manage a frustrating level-par 72 on Saturday, heads a group of seven players on -9.

The 2015 PGA Champion is joined on that mark by Scotland’s Russell Knox, South Korean Si Woo Kim, Spaniard Rafael Cabrera-Bello and the American trio of Scott Stallings, Scott Langley and Jonathan Byrd.
