10/1 Fowler excited for Texas debut - (2026)

World number eight Rickie Fowler (10/1 – Texas Open Outright) is looking forward to making his first appearance at this week’s Valero Texas Open as he looks to fine-tune his game for the Masters.

Fowler added a fifth PGA Tour title to his collection in February with a two-stroke victory at the Waste Management Phoenix Open and carried that form into the Honda Classic, where he finished tied-second.

Since a disappointing T47 at The Players Championship, the 30-year-old has taken a couple of weeks off from competitive action as he prepares for a busy few months on both the PGA and European Tours.

The American will be making his debut at this week’s Texas Open and admits the excitement has been building as he aims to get in peak conditions for the Masters (Fowler – 18/1 Outright), which runs from April 11-14.

Fowler said at a press conference: “I always love playing the week before majors if I can. I’m looking forward to playing well and ultimately getting ready for next week.”

For those players yet to qualify for the Masters, victory in the Texas Open would secure them the final exemption for the first major of the season at Augusta National.

USA’s 2018 Ryder Cup captain Jim Furyk needs a win to make the Georgia event and he is 25/1 to land his first PGA title since the 2015 RBC Heritage.

Of the other fancied players in the betting, world number 15 Tony Finau is priced at 14/1, while fellow American Matt Kuchar, who arrives on the back of a runner-up finish at the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play, is a 16/1 chance.
