West Ham vs Arsenal Preview

Arsenal were once associated with the number 4, there consistency in reaching Champions League football despite losing their best stars was made fun of. Oh how Arsenal would give everything to be back achieving Champions League football on a regular basis, again.

In their pursuit to Champions League Football, Arsenal are currently sitting 5^th in the table with 41 points while they are only 3 points away from the 4^th placed Chelsea. Arsenal are also just 3 points ahead from a resurgent Manchester United that have similar ambitions to that of Arsenals’ and sit at the 6^th position with 38 points.Also an interest for the Arsenal fans are their rivals Tottenham who are 7 points ahead of Arsenal.

Up next Tottenham face Manchester United which provides a great opportunity for Arsenal to make headway on either of the two or both.

Making headway is not a very simple task for Arsenal as they are up against the Hammers who have ambitions of their own. If recent form is an indicator on anything then both sides are well matched with both winning 2, drawing 1 and losing 2 games in their last 5 matches. Arsenal will argue that they are a much better team than West Ham despite having a not so impressive form.
