Saint Etienne ready to rock the Champions League

Saint-Étienne vs. Marseille

Midweek’s best game has the opportunity to be defined by a glut of players who once plied their trade in the Premier League, specifically the North East.

Former Sunderland winger Wahbi Khazri has already notched 10 league goals this season for Saint-Etienne and they find themselves in fourth place. A win could take them into third and just a point behind second placed Lille.

Khazri has scored in three of the last four Ligue 1 matches and you can back Khazri anytime goalscorer @ 21/20.

Florian Thauvin, Dimitri Payet and their Marseille team-mates are on something of a barren run of no wins in eight games. That only includes four Ligue 1 games, however, all have been against teams below them in the league table in Nantes, Reims, Monaco and Angers.

The only worry where Saint-Etienne are concerned is a recent run of 10 competitive games without a win against Marseille. Runs have to come to an end at some point and, with Saint-Etienne are absolutely imperious at home (seven wins and two draws), back Saint-Etienne to Win @ 5/4.
