Race still on for Championship play-offs

Derby County, Middlesbrough and Bristol City are battling it out for the last remaining place in the Championship play-offs.
Derby are in control of their play-off fate despite being held to a draw at Swansea on Wednesday but they face serious competition from Middlesbrough and Bristol City as they bid to secure a top six finish and a chance to fight for a place in the play-off final at Wembley.
The Rams are 7/1 to be promoted, Boro are 12/1 and Bristol City are 50/1.
Derby are sixth had the opportunity to pull three points clear of seventh-placed Boro on Wednesday but a they had to settle for a 1-1 draw at Swansea.
Victory at the Liberty Stadium would have ruled eight-placed Bristol City out of the race and likely ended Boro’s hopes due to Derby’s superior goal difference.
But Frank Lampard’s since now face a tense final day of the season as they welcome promotion rivals West Brom to Pride Park.
The Baggies are guaranteed fourth spot but could still end the season as high as third if they win and Leeds lose against already-relegated Ipswich.
Derby beat West Brom 4-1 at the Hawthorns earlier in the campaign and will take comfort from their impressive home record, having won their last three in the league – scoring 12 goals in the process – and they have only lost once at Pride Park since November.
Boro were heavy favourites to seal a play-off spot at the turn of the year but a terrible run through March, which saw them fail to win a single match – losing four and drawing one – left them playing catch up over the last few weeks.
A run of four victories from their last five games has kept them in the running and they will be confident of seeing off Rotherham on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Bristol City are the outsiders and need to win at Hull as well as Derby and Boro slipping up.
Their recent away record, losing two of the last three, suggests they might find it tough to take all three points away from Humberside.
Odds subject to change.
