Liverpool vs Manchester United: Kick-off time, how to watch on TV and online, odds and predictions

Liverpool head into Sunday's derby against Manchester United full of confidence after a 1-0 win over Napoli in midweek secured their place in the Champions League last 16 draw.

Jose Mourinho and his misery men are seeking to close the 16 point gap on their bitter neighbours but will require a first win at Anfield since March 2015 to do so.

i verdict
By Kevin Garside, chief sports correspondent
Though Liverpool have injuries, they also have a bench to cope and a new resilience, reflected in a table they lead by a point from Manchester City after 16 games. Sixteen points adrift in sixth place, United are in the slot formerly occupied by their hosts, a collection of talented yet ill-fitting pieces struggling for relevance in the age of Klopp and Pep-ball.

In his third full season at the club, the argument goes that Klopp must win a pot or two this season to be considered a success. The counter-argument invites proponents to cast a glance towards a fitful Old Trafford to see what Liverpool might still be.
Winning is sometimes a matter of caprice. As golfers insist, the point is to play well enough to put yourself in a winning position come Sunday afternoon. Liverpool are playing more than well enough with a squad deeper in talent than any since the last of their title wins, 29 seasons ago. They just need a few putts to drop when it matters.
At least Salah has found his form on the greens. It is now for Mané and Bobby Firmino to catch up. The visit of United would be the time to start.
i predicts: 3-1
