Both clubs have earned identical number of points, which is 4, after their three Premier League outings. Liverpool's performance in the League has vacillated from absolute brilliance (a 5-3 win over Arsenal) to the very ordinary (a shock 1-2 defeat to minions, Burnley). As for the champions, things may be limping back to normal after their shock defeat to Hull in the League opener. A stoic 0-0 draw against the Gunners followed by a much needed morale boosting 2-1 win against Swansea signaled that Leicester may be back in business.

Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp have really been busy with as many as 1500 completed passes, but this did not prevent the six goals they have conceded so far which is what puts them behind Leicester on the points table. The Foxes on the other hand have managed 900 completed passes and have conceded just thrice.

Liverpool have been facing injury issues with Mamadou Sakho, Joe Gomez and Ragnar Klavan out of the coming encounter. Midfield talent Emre Can is another who looks doubtful thanks to a ankle injury he suffered in a clash with Burton Albion. Leicester City's sharp counter-attacking style of play and the Reds' pressing game should make for an interesting encounter that could see quite a few goals. In such a scenario, odds favor the hosts as is evidenced below. But, a stalemate (draw) cannot be ruled out, too.
