Dele Alli injury: Will Tottenham star be fit to face Bournemouth and Wolves?
Updated: 25/09/2023
Dele Alli has been back to something like his best in recent weeks, scoring three goals in a period in which Tottenham have won six of their past seven games.
An injury picked up in Spurs' win over Everton on Sunday, however, means he is a doubt for a busy festive period which includes matches against Bournemouth, Wolves and Cardiff in the space of just a few days.
The Englishman appeared to pull up with a hamstring strain following a robust challenge from Toffees goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and he was replaced at half-time.
Will Alli face Bournemouth or Wolves?
In good news for Spurs fans, manager Mauricio Pochettino confirmed Alli's injury was not serious although he did not offer a clue into when he might return.

“He didn't feel a big problem,” Pochettino told Sky Sports after the Everton game.
“Maybe [he was] a little bit tired from Wednesday [against Arsenal]. I hope it's not a big issue. It was a precaution.”
When questioned over what he thought of Pickford's challenge, Pochettino added: “I didn't see it. I am curious to see the action.
“I didn't want to say because I've not seen the video. It was a tough action. We hope it's not a big issue.”
