Cherries to tuck into another three points?

AFC Bournemouth produced one of the season’s most eye-catching results on Wednesday night, giving Chelsea a 4-0 spanking at Vitality Stadium.

Off the back of home wins over the Blues and West Ham United, Eddie Howe’s side now have to show they can do the business in South Wales.

They take on a Cardiff City side who’ll be desperate to end their recent slump. So, who’ll edge this teatime tussle?

Match odds

The Cherries have managed three wins and a draw in the last four head-to-heads, and we go 5/4 that Howe’s men triumph again.

Meanwhile, Cardiff are 21/10 for a vital home win. And it’s 23/10 for the Draw.

Neil Warnock’s shot-shy hosts have scored just twice in their last seven games, and are up against a Bournemouth backline looking for a third clean sheet on the trot.

It’s 3/1 for the South Coast club to Win to Nil, while they’re 11/1 for a fourth 2-0 win of the season.

Talking Tactics

Warnock has switched Cardiff’s tactics up throughout the season, so time will tell what system they play in this clash.

If they field a front two, it’s likely to be Everton loanee Oumar Niasse and Callum Paterson in those spots. In midfield, former Bournemouth favourite Harry Arter is set to feature. He’s been in the starting XI for four of the last five league games.

The visitors are without hitman Callum Wilson, who’s currently on the treatment table.

Not that they seemed to miss him against Chelsea! Strike duo David Brooks and Josh King netted three goals and chalked up an assist each. The former had a slight knock in that game, but should start here. Meanwhile, chances are Ryan Fraser and Jordon Ibe will provide the service from out wide.

Goalscorer odds

After a brace in midweek, King is 11/5 to notch Anytime in the Welsh capital. Meanwhile, you can get 10/1 on him bagging Two or More Goals for the third time this season.

As for Brooks, we go 13/5 the former Sheffield United product lands one in the onion-bag.

Cardiff’s best chance likely lies with 11/5 Niasse. The Senegal ace scored twice against the Cherries for Everton last season.

Fancy a long shot? Bournemouth defender Nathan Ake has scored in two of his last six outings, and is a chunky 7/1 to get wind up Warnock with a goal.
