Except for the defeat in the opening two matches to Bournemouth and Hull City, which they regret, Swansea City have put on a much improved performance on the field since then, despite a string of four losses.

The new coach can take satisfaction from the fact that he has taken over from Guidolin when things are slowly on the mend.

But the bad news is that his first test will probably be among his toughest. Swansea City visit the Emirates to play Arsenal, who presently look the best Premier League team given their current form. The Gunners have pumped in 13 goals in their last 5 games, all of which they have won.

Apart from top scorers Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott, even new signings like Lucas Martínez and Granit Xhaka have been among the goals.
