Presenting Percy cut for Cheltenham Gold Cup after Gowran Park win - (2026)

Our traders have cut Presenting Percy to 3/1 (from 4/1) for the Magners Gold Cup at the 21019 Cheltenham Festival.

The move comes after an impressive victory on his long awaited return to the track in the Galmoy Hurdle at Gowran Park.

Last year’s winner Native River (9/2) and Kemboy (7/1) are the second and third favourites respectively.

Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead said: “Presenting Percy travelled very strongly throughout his return and the way he jumped and finished his race has only enhanced his Gold Cup claims.

“He won the Galmoy Hurdle last year on his way to landing the RSA and whilst it’s taken a while for him to return there was no sign of any concerns for punters and he’s shortened at the head of our Gold Cup market,” added Aitkenhead.
