Friday night promises be a big one in the NBA as some key clashes should give us further insight into who will make it through the business end of the season.

Here are the four clashes to keep an eye on.

Bucks @ Cavs

Friday, 14 December, 00:30

Inconsistent is certainly the way to describe the Bucks at the moment, having won five and lost five in their last ten games. They took a big loss last time out against the Pacers too, going down 113–97 on the road.

Eric Bledsoe stepped up for the team in that loss as main man Giannis Antetokounmpo was plagued by foul trouble. He will be hoping for better here, no doubt.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been one of the worst teams in the NBA this season, but last time out they saw off the Knicks in a 113–106 home win. Jordan Clarkson led the team with 28 points and will be asked to produce once again here.

These two only met last on Tuesday and it was the Bucks who grabbed an easy 108–92 home win. After taking such a bad loss last time out to the Pacers, expect an immediate response from Giannis and co.

Heat @ Grizzlies

Friday, 14 December, 01:00

Entering the game with just five wins from their last nine games, including back-to-back defeats, the Heat are desperate for victory here. They were blown out by the Jazz 111–84 last time out, and while we won’t see similar scoring here, we can expect to the Grizzlies to claim the win.

The Grizzlies are in decent form and have won four of their last seven games. They come into this one after a particularly impressive win over the Trail Blazers. This game against the Heat provides the perfect opportunity to build on that.

Mike Conley has been in great form this season so expect him to come up with the goods once again.

TIP: Grizzlies at -5.5 @ 5/6

Thunder @ Nuggets

Friday, 14 December, 03.00

What a match-up we have here. In undoubtedly one of the most interesting games of the weekend games, two in-form teams meet.

OKC travel to Denver with seven wins in their last ten games, while averaging 111.7 points per game. Paul George has been a highlight for them this season and they are well and truly over an early slump.

However, the Nuggets will be formidable opponents. They’ve won eight of their last ten games, and are averaging 110 points per game. At home they’ve been extremely strong of late, winning their last four straight and face a team in OKC that, although are good, they know how to beat.

The Nuggets have won five of the last six meetings against the Thunder and this includes a seven point victory on the road last month.

This one is extremely close to call but when they sides last met, and the Nuggets won, the Thunder were not in good shape. This time, it should be different.

TIP: Thunder to Win @ 4/5

Warriors @ Kings

Friday, 14 December, 03.00

An intriguing match-up will take place in Sacramento on Friday, as the Warriors pay visit to the surprise package of the season, the Kings.

With seven wins in their last ten games things are certainly looking better for the Warriors, as they average 115.6 points per game. Kevin Durant and a fit-again Steph Curry are both averaging 28.9 points per game too as the big guns weigh in and aim to help the Warriors regain their status as the best team in the NBA.

The Kings meanwhile continue their impressive season by outscoring teams on average 11.9 points per game. They’ve claimed wins in five of their last six games and allow just 33.7 points per game from deep on average — an area the Warriors usually look to focus upon.

The Warriors have lost six of their last nine when on the road, while the Kings are strong at home with five wins in the last eight. It may seem crazy, but we are going with the Kings for this one.

TIP: Kings to Win @ 5/2
