– The biggest race of the year is finally upon us and with Tiger Roll backing up his form at Cheltenham, can anything stop him matching Red Rum's feat of defending the Grand National? Paul Kealy hates backing favourites but even he has succumbed to Tiger's charms.

– With Bet365 offering six EW places there are plenty of other options to back at bigger prices. We look at the best of the rest including Anibale Fly, Dounikos, Vintage Clouds and Step Back.

– There are plenty of other races on Saturday's Aintree card including three Grade 1s, where Apple's Jade looks to put her disappointing run at Cheltenham behind her in the Ryanair Stayers' Hurdle.

– We also look at racing on Sunday with a big meeting at Fairyhouse, plus Frank has picked one that has snuck under the radar that the boys are lumping into…
