After a thrilling pair of Championship clashes between the NFL’s four highest-scoring regular season sides, we’re down to just two.

As the world gears up for what promises to be a thrilling Super Bowl LIII, we’ve got everything you need to know as New England Patriots face Los Angeles Rams.

Where is it happening?

Only opened in August 2017, Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium is already all set to host its first Super Bowl.

The Atlanta Falcons’ home can hold 71,000 fans and there should be a raucous atmosphere for its first showpiece. But this isn’t the first time the city has hosted the Super Bowl.

The 1994 and 2000 editions both took place at the Falcons old home, the Georgia Dome. Buffalo Bills lost a fourth straight Super Bowl to Dallas Cowboys in 1994, while St Louis Rams and “The Greatest Show on Turf” triumphed six years later.

When does it kick off?

It’s an overnight job on UK time, with the action beginning at 11:30pm on Sunday 3rd February.

That includes the game’s legendary Halftime Show, which this year is headlined by Maroon 5 – with the guests including Travis Scott and Big Boi of Outkast fame.

The teams involved

The Patriots have history on their side. Five-time Super Bowl winners, all of those titles have come under current head coach Bill Belichick – and with Quarterback Tom Brady in the side.

However, they finished the regular season with an unspectacular 11-5 record – with four of those defeats coming on the road.

As for the Rams, they’ve been a revelation since swapping St Louis for the City of Angels. An offensive powerhouse, they’ve scored over 25 points in 13 of their 17 games ahead of the big one in Atlanta.

What are the Super Bowl odds?

Ahead of the 2019 Super Bowl, we’ve got New England as narrow favourites at 3/4 in the Money Line. As for their opponents, LA Rams are 11/10.

Both sides have a reputation for being high-scoring. The Rams are 8/15 to Score Over 25.5 points, while the Patriots are 4/9 in the same market.

The Rams and Pats both needed Overtime to secure victory in their respective AFC and NFC Championship games, and this could be close again.

Belichick’s side are 11/4 to win by 1-6 points, while LA’s hopefuls are 3/1 to do the same.
