Bundesliga Preview: Can Wolfsburg tame Dortmund? - (2026)
Updated: 13/03/2026
Preview and odds ahead of big weekend
The Bundesliga is one of the most competitive leagues in Europe so far this season.
A top four that features both Werder Bremen and Borussia Monchengladbach are separated by just four points.
Gameweek ten throws up some intriguing encounters with Hertha Berlin hosting RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen facing Hoffenheim.
But we focus our attentions on the game at the Volkswagen Arena as Borussia Dortmund travel to Wolfsburg…
Wolfsburg v Borussia Dortmund (Saturday, 2.30pm)
BVB are the only unbeaten side left in the league this season. Their six wins and three draws have them sitting two points clear of second-placed Bayern Munich.
Jadon Sancho has six league assists to his name. He’s 7/4 to continue his form and make 1+ assist in this match.
Paco Alcacer‘s link up with Marco Reus, Sancho and Marius Wolf has been a throwback to the swashbuckling football in Jurgen Klopp’s era.
They’re 20/23 to win away for the third time this season.
Wolfsburg stand in their way fresh from two wins in two.
Five goals in two games and a pair of clean sheets halted a slide of only three points in six games.
Die Wolfe are 29/10 for victory. Dortmund will have to be wary of strike duo Daniel Ginzcek and Wout Weghorst.
Hertha Berlin v RB Leipzig
Sixth-place plays fifth in Berlin on Saturday evening. Hertha haven’t lost at home this season. They’re 11/5 to win with the draw at 5/2.
There have been at least two goals or more scored in seven of their last eight league games. You can get 3/4 for there to be Over 2.5 goals in the game. It’s 15/8 to feature 3.5+ goals.
RB Leipzig have picked up a bit of form most notably thrashing Nurnberg 6-0 in early October.
It’s 3/1 for RB to win and Both Teams to Score. Both Timo Werner and Jean-Kevin Augustin to bag goals and a Leipzig victory is 9/2.
With players such as in-form Ondrej Duda, Salomon Kalou and Emil Forsberg on show, this could be a cracker in the capital!
Best of the rest
Elsewhere, Bayern Munich are 1/10 to beat Freiburg in their attempt to make ground on leaders Dortmund.
Bayer Leverkusen and Hoffenheim will both feel they should be higher up the table. Leverkusen lost their first three games of the season but are 11/10 to pick up just their fourth victory of the season.
Julian Nagelsmann’s achtzen99 are 11/5 to bag a win that could push them into the top six.
Schalke are sitting just one place outside the relegation zone but are 8/13 to beat 16th placed Hannover.
