There is an estimated £200k in this weekend’s Scoop6, plus Fred has put up a £100,000 bonus for any individual Betfred winner this Saturday

The action is spread across three meetings at Chepstow, Kempton and Newcastle.

Scoop6

Leg 1 – Not That Fuisse

Leg 2 – Choix Des Armes

Leg 3 – Petit Palais

Leg 4 – Potters Corner

Leg 5 – Rather B

Leg 6 – Sandymount

We start at Kempton, and Not That Fuisse can follow up a recent Taunton win for Team Skelton. He impressed in that race after chasing home Al Dancer at Cheltenham previously and on a similar track edged slightly up in trip, should take some beating.

At Chepstow, Choix Des Armes can be another Saturday winner for Paul Nicholls in the second leg. He has had a break since a second at Kempton on quick ground in May and will appreciate a return to slightly easier conditions – and Lorcan William’s 5lb claim is another tick in his box.

Petit Palais can continue along the Punjabi route who also won at Ludlow and the Adonis Hurdle en route to the Triumph Hurdle in 2007. He is a half-brother to 2000 Guineas winner Galileo Gold and joined Tom George from John Gosden prior to impressing on hurdles debut.

The Eider is a gruelling four miler at Newcastle where trainer Christian Williams is excited to run his Potters Corner, and I can see why. He is re-united with James Bowen who was on board for a convincing win two runs ago and he was still in with a shout when departing three out last time. He looks overpriced at double figures.

Back to Kempton and Rather B can finally have his day in the sun. He needs to prove he stays but was out of luck when brought down at Cheltenham in November and ran well to be fifth behind Frodon at the December meeting. He has been freshened up and has huge claims of taking Kempton’s feature handicap.

Finally, Sandymount can take the lucky last. He is back down to his last winning mark and he sneaks in off bottom weight under Cieran Gethings.
